# Stacks Unity Hub 2024 Roadmap

### Q1: January - March 2024

#### 1. Blockchain Unleashed Event:

* Objective: Implement user-friendly Onboarding Bootcamp as the maiden outfit for Stacks Unity Hub,.
* Steps:
  * Hold physical event In a university to bring together students and experts from different niches and onboard them to the stacks L2 Blockchain..
  * Collaborate with Stacks developers and communities on projects for enhancements.
  * Roll out updates based on user feedback.

#### 2. Cross-University Event Series Launch:

* Objective: Commence a monthly series of virtual events exploring decentralized decision-making processes.
* Steps:
  * Identify guest speakers from the Stacks community.
  * Plan interactive sessions to engage participants.
  * Promote events through social media and university partnerships.

### Q2: April - June 2024

#### 1. Bitcoin Pizza Day Celebration Planning:

* Objective: Organize a memorable celebration on May 22nd in honor of the first real use of bitcoin.
* Steps:
  * Develop a themed event plan for Bitcoin Pizza Day.
  * Collaborate with sponsors for giveaways and promotions.
  * Engage the community in creating interactive content.

#### 2. Inter-University Hackathon Kickoff:

* Objective: Launch the first Inter-University Hackathon of the year.
* Steps:
* Finalize hackathon details and logistics.
* Engage university teams through targeted outreach.
* Leverage Stacks-based smart contracts for hackathon automation.

#### 3. Research Fellowship Program Launch:

* Objective: Initiate the Research Fellowship Program using Stacks-based smart contracts for transparent funding distribution.
* Steps:
  * Define research areas of focus.
  * Establish collaboration with academic institutions.
  * Open applications for research fellows.

#### 4. Building and Launching Of UNITY\_DAO

* Objective: Building and launching of the Community's DAO on Stacks which would be a key Precursor of every On-Chain Interaction of the community where there is democracy pertaining to decisions and activities Of the community
* steps:
  * Assemble team from the community in collaboration with other communities
  * First build release, Application + Smart Contract
  * Testnet Release
  * Utility Token($Unity)  and Treasury Staking Implementations 

### Q3: July - September 2024

#### 1. Mid-Year Community Meetup:

* Objective: Organize a virtual meetup to assess progress and gather community feedback.
* Steps:
* * Host interactive sessions for community engagement.
  * Share accomplishments and key learnings.
  * Collect suggestions for future improvements.

#### 2. Sustainable Growth Initiatives:

* Objective: Explore sustainability measures, including token incentives and partnerships.
* Steps:
  * Research and implement Stacks-based tokens for governance.
  * Seek partnerships with external Stacks ecosystem projects.
  * Evaluate potential grant programs for community development.

#### 3. Networking Opportunities Expansion:

* Objective: Increase networking opportunities for participants.
* Steps:
  * Host specialised networking events for different participant groups.
  * Collaborate with industry experts for virtual mentorship sessions.
  * Introduce a mentorship program within the community.

### Q4: October - December 2024

#### 1. Grand Finale Hackathon:

* Objective: Host a culminating Inter-University Hackathon with enhanced participation.
* Steps:
  * Showcase successful projects from previous hackathons.
  * Introduce new challenges and themes.
  * Recognize and reward outstanding contributions.

#### 2. Reflective Community Webinar:

* Objective: Host an end-of-year webinar to reflect on achievements and set goals for the upcoming year.
* Steps:
  * Invite community leaders and influencers to share insights.
  * Conduct community-wide polls for feedback.
  * Announce plans and objectives for 2025.

#### 3. Strengthening Crypto Collaborator Initiatives:

* Objective: Deepen relationships with Crypto Collaborators for ongoing and future support.
* Steps:
  * Recognize and appreciate Crypto Collaborators' contributions.
  * Seek feedback for improvement.
  * Explore new ways to engage and involve collaborators.
